Express News Service

For this season, ‘House of Wangs’ Restaurant in Kaloor, rechristened now as ‘Inchino’ Restaurant, offers some delectable Indo-chinese dishes. The restaurant has been a popular hub of foodies in the city, satiating their sweet and sour taste buds.

“We have rebranded the restaurant, retaining the same concept,” says Regi Mathew, the chief chef. Some new dishes introduced are ‘Phuket Fish’, ‘Volcano Chicken’, ‘Far East Sizzlers’  ,’Fiery Pomfret’, ‘Braised Pomfret in Hunan’.

“What sets the new menu of Indo-chinese cuisine apart is that they are prepared by Matunsh Kalaima, a distinguished Indo-chinese chef, whose name is synonymous with Wangs Restaurants all over the world. ‘Phuket Fish’ is one of his creation, which is very popular in all Wangs kitchens across the world,” says Regi.

The chef says that the foodies of the city prefer Indo-chinese dishes to the original Chinese variety. “They prefer dishes that suits the Indian palates, which are less tangy, the reason why we are introducing a melange of new dishes,” explains Regi.
