The Film Critic Circle of India will be conducting a three-day film appreciation camp at Sacred Heart College, Kochi, starting from Friday.

The three-day events will be inaugurated at 1 pm by director Harikumar, who has to his credit award winning films such as Sukrutham.Film-maker and critic Madhu Eravankara will take a two part session on the topic ‘Introduction to Cinema’ on Friday.

The participants will also get an opportunity to meet film director G S Vijayan on Friday.National Award winner film critic I Shanmukhadas will take sessions on Saturday along with Madhu Eravankara and scriptwriter John Paul. Director Joy Mathew will also address the participants on day two.

Film critic C S Venkiteshwaran will take a session on ‘Film Theories, Aesthetics & Sociology’ on Sunday.

Film Director Kamal will be the special guest for valedictory session. Each day will also screen a text film, to be followed by an evaluation of the film next day. Madhu Eravankara will be the course director and chief faculty.
