Man Dies in Accident

KOCHI: A 55-year-old man died on Thursday after a motor bike hit the cycle he was riding on. The deceased has been identified as Lawrence of Fort Kochi. According to the Mattanchery traffic police, the accident might have occurred between 8.30 am and 9 am.

“The incident occurred when Lawrence was going to the church on his cycle. Since it was a minor accident, he went home soon after the incident. However, he was taken to the Fort Kochi Government Hospital after he complained of severe pain. He died at 7 pm at the hospital,” the police officials said.

“We have launched a search for the person who was riding the bike that hit Lawrence,” they said.
