KOCHI: Actor-director Sidharth Bharathan, who was undergoing treatment after being critically injured in a car accident last month, will be discharged from Medical Trust Hospital here on Friday. “It is because of sheer luck that I can speak like this”, said Sidharth who met mediapersons at the hospital on Thursday.
“Sidharth’s body responded well to medicines and that positive sign enabled him to recover faster,” said nuero surgeon Sudheesh Karunakaran, who led the medical team that treated Sidharth. Sidharth’s mother and actor KPAC Lalitha was also with him. Sidharth can now walk with support, doctors said.
