KOCHI: Baahubali mania hit the young and the old in the city. The hype surrounding the movie united moviegoers of all stripes. Everyone wanted to know - why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?

“The film is superb. It is so much better than the first one. Our wait didn’t go in vain. The movie is 3 hour long, but I had an enthralling experience,” says Rohith Suresh an engineering student. The excitement to see the movie saw Baahubali fans stand patiently in long queues to buy a ticket.

“The film has really come out well. It once again held the audience in awe. But the VFX of the first part was more satisfactory,” Anandhu Manoj a movie buff told Express.

Even the people who missed out seeing the first part were seen rushing about trying for a chance to see the conclusion. “I didn’t watch Baahubali’s first part in the theatre. But this time my children were so adamant to watch the second part, I pre-booked the tickets for the entire family to avoid  last minute rush,” says Indu Menon a viewer at Saritha theatre.
