THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The three-day national seminar on ‘National Consciousness in Hindi and Malayalam Poetry’ and the Hindi Book Exhibition, jointly organised by the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Hindi Sansthan, Lucknow, and Department of Hindi, Kerala University, Kariavattom Campus, will begin here on December 9.

 Eminent personalities from the Hindi and Malayalam Literature, including Kerala University former Vice-Chancellor G. Balamohan Thampi, Kerala Hindi Sahitya Academy president N. Chandrasekharan Nair and UP Hindi Sansthan executive chairman Shambunath, will participate in the seminar to be held at the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha Auditorium.

 UP Hindi Sansthan director Arun Singh will inaugurate the Hindi Book exhibition at the auditorium premises at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Various Hindi books published by the UP Hindi Sansthan as well as the Hindi Books by Malayalam authors will be the highlights of the exhibition.
