THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: 93.5 S FM, a sister concern of Sun TV network, will bear a new name, Red FM, from Monday onwards. The FM channel, which has stations in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Thrissur, Kozhikode and Kannur in Kerala, will be part of the Red FM network in India from Chingam 1, said a press note from S FM. However, the frequency will continue to be 93.5.
The renaming follows the merger of S FM with Red FM. The press note also said S FM has bagged the award for the best radio channel instituted by Frame media. Actor Sreenivasan presented the award at a function held here the other day.
