THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of the ongoing centenary celebrations of the Government Model School here, a meeting of the alumni of the school will be organised on May 31, at 4 p.m., on the school premises.

The objective of the meeting is to chart out an action plan for various long-term projects and programmes to be initiated as part of the centenary celebrations of the school.

Former students of the school, including HLL chairman N. Ayyappan, Soorya Krishnamoorthy, Venu Nagavally, Electricity Regulatory Board member M.P. Ayyappan, Maniyanpillai Raju, Jagathy Sreekumar, Jagadeesh, CESS registrar Sudeep, film producer Sureshkumar and director Rajiivnath are expected to attend the meeting.

The coordinator of the meeting, in a statement here on Thursday,  requested the alumni of the school to attend the programme and make the centenary celebrations a grand success.
