Row over poem: Government cautions ADGP Sandhya

The State Government has cautioned ADGP - Armed Forces Battalion B Sandhya to be more careful while penning literary works.

The government also found that service rules were not violated in the controversial poem of the officer appeared in a vernacular magazine.

In her work titled ‘I can be like this only’ Sandhya had criticised politicians, bureaucrats and mediapersons.

Earlier, Sandhya, in her explanation to the DGP, had said that as it was a literary work nobody could question it.

Sandhya also said that she did not intend to target anyone through the poem.

The DGP, who didn’t take any further action, sent the explanation to the government.
