Big Bazaar, a Future Group venture, has announced ‘The Great Exchange Mela’ till March 30, under which shoppers can exchange old newspapers, clothes, footwear, plastic items, electronics and furniture against new products on sale at the hypermarket chain across the country and avail of as much as 20 per cent discount on such purchases. “Old items brought by the consumers will be weighed and valued and the value will be credited to their pay back cards. Using these pay back cards, shoppers can buy clothes, home fashion items, utensils, crockery, luggage and toys,” Future Group officials said here.
