THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As the schools are closed for summer vacation an array of camps and coaching centres in the city are keeping the kids engaged. The children are introduced to and trained in almost everything from music and chess to skating and sculpturing. It’s also a merry time for the children  as they get a short respite from studies and a chance to indulge in a spate of activities. There are hour-long classes to full day sessions during the two-month vacation. Express photographer Manu R Mavelil takes a look.
