Express News Service

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Nadar Mahajana Sabha (KNMS) has sought the revocation of terms of reference of Hariharan Nair Commission which  recommended the inclusion of details of original religion and caste in birth certificates.

KNMS chairman L S Pramod alleged that the recommendation of the Commission was an act of ‘’Ghar Wapsi.’’

‘’It is an act of Ghar Wapsi and hence, a total insult to the Nadar community. It is serious, un-Constitutional and a challenge to  the idea of secularism,’’ Pramod told a press conference here the other day.
