Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust Kerala’s Saigramam now in Dubai too

The Dubai chapter of Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust Kerala’s Saigramam has been officially launched.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Dubai chapter of  Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust Kerala’s Saigramam has been officially launched. UAE Minister for Culture and Knowledge Development Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahayan released the brochure ‘21 years; 108 projects of Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust’ on the occasion.

The Dubai chapter has been set up as part of expanding the activities of Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust, which has been into charity activities. Sai Trust founder and executive director K N Anandakumar held discussions with Sheikh Nahayan in Abu Dhabi and invited him to attend the opening ceremony of the 21-day-long birth anniversary celebrations of Sathya Sai Baba on November 1. Anandakumar declared open Sai Gramam’s Dubai chapter at a function held at Abu Hail.

He also announced the office-bearers of the new chapter.  They are, Balagopal (president), Haris Meppad, Ganesh Aramanganam, Suresh Pillai (vice-presidents), Ganesh Mangathil (general secretary), Ratheesh, Sreedharan Vellotte and Abhilash (joint secretaries). Sai Prakash has taken over as the patron of the new chapter while Muneer C will be the FCA advisory council member.

The UAE coordinators of the Trust Vinod Thalavoor, Deepa and Silpa Nair also attended the meeting. The new website of Saigramam was also inaugurated during the occasion.

The NGO has been carrying out different charity initiatives for the orphaned and the less privileged.

Saigramam housing project for the Endosulfan-affected in Kasargod and Super Speciality Hospital without cash counter are some of the ongoing projects of the Trust.
