THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) and Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), the state government’s nodal agency for fostering technological innovation, will conduct ‘Sankethapravesam-2017’, an induction function for engineering students here on Wednesday.

Organised in partnership with the IT Department, the event will be inaugurated at Tagore Theatre by Governor P Sathasivam. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will address the gathering. The inaugural function will be presided over by Education Minister C Raveendranath.

IT Secretary M Sivasankar, KTU Vice-Chancellor Dr Kuncheria P Isaac will speak. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of All India Council for Technical Education, will speak on the importance of a startup culture.
