VIJAYAWADA: All party leaders extended their solidarity to the Padyatra to be taken out by Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham. In this regard, a poster was released by Kapu Joint Action Commitee (JAC) leaders here on Monday.

YSR Congress State leader S Udaya Bhanu alleged that Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu who promised to include Kapus into Backward Classes during elections is now vindictive towards Kapus. He questioned why the TDP Government has deployed thousands of police personnel in Kirlampudi, treating it as “Pakistan”. “Despite several hurdles, Kapu leader Mudragada will take out Padyatra from Kirlampudi to Amravati to pressurise the government for the implementation of assured poll promises to Kapus,” said Bhanu.

Congress party State secretary N Narasimha Rao came down heavily on the TDP government for suppressing the Padyatra to be taken out by Mudragada.
