Congress will raise Fathima medicos issue in Parliament: KVP

Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachandra Rao has assured the students of Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences (FIMS), Kadapa, that he will raise the issue in the upper House.

VIJAYAWADA: Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachandra Rao has assured the students of Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences (FIMS), Kadapa, that he will raise the issue in the upper House.  

On Sunday, the Congress MP visited the students, who are on their sixth day of relay hunger strike here,  and assured them that he would do everything possible to get justice to the medical students of the 2015-16 batch of FIMS, whose admission was rendered invalid by the Medical Council of India.

KVP Ramachandra Rao said, “We will speak to the MCI officials. The Congress will raise the issue in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu should personally look into the issue to get justice for the students. Action should be taken against the college management.”
