VIJAYAWADA: Distressed over deteriorating health condition of his son, despite spending lakhs of rupees for his treatment, a man suffocated him with a saree and then committed suicide by hanging himself with the same saree, police said.The shocking incident took place on Tuesday afternoon in Payakapuram under Nunna police station limits. The duo were identified as Surabattula Vishnumurthy (45) and S Hari Manikanta (22) respectively.According to Nunna circle inspector MV Durga Rao, Manikanta was paralysed and hospitalised two years ago.
