VIJAYAWADA: Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao has said that the AP Legislature will come up in five floors with all modern facilities.

After going through the designs submitted by the London-based Foster + Partners at the Interim Legislature in Velagapudi on Friday, he suggested some minor changes with regard to office arrangements of the Speaker, Leader of the House and Leader of Opposition.

Speaking on the occasion, Kodela said that the five-storey building of the AP Legislature will be in tower shape with a height of 250 metres. Visitors will be allowed to reach atop the tower when the Assembly is not in session.

The final designs of the building will be ready by the end of August, he said. On the monsoon session of Assembly, he said that a decision on it has to be taken by the government.
