VIJAYAWADA: Former Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao says it’s high time the State government addresses the issues of temple archakas and issues G.O. 76. On Friday, hailing a recent judgement of Andhra Pradesh High Court with regard to Archakas’ issues, he tweeted that there are some issues regarding archakas that are pending with the AP government for the last four years and G.O. 76 in this regard is yet to be issued.

Krishna Rao in his tweet observed that in view of the negligence of the government in addressing their problems, it is better for them to take the support of devotees for finding a solution to their problems.
“Archakas cannot and should not go on strike. I have a small suggestion for them. While giving theertham and prasadam, narrate your woes and those responsible for the same to the devotees. Devotees and God will show you a solution to your problems,” he tweeted.
