HYDERABAD: The State BJP has accused the Congress of indulging in “divisive and anti-secular politics”. A photograph of a list of promises that the Congress allegedly intends to fulfil if brought to power has been doing rounds on social media and the BJP criticised the document.

BJP State chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao shared a photograph of the Congress whose title reads ‘Chrisitian Manifesto’. In that document, it listed out 10 promises which include protection of bishops, pastors and evangelists. It also states that Chrisitian Bhavan will be constructed in the State.  “The Chrisitan manifesto exposes Congress across India and the State. The divisive politics played by it is visible that is officially documented. The BJP strongly condemns and demands ECI to take suo-motu cognisance while deregistering the Congress party,” said Rao.

This comes at the backdrop of BJP leader Indrasena Reddy who has already filed a complaint with the State Election Commission against  TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy.
