Though he has completed three decades, in the industry, the actor says theatre is his real passion.

“In cinema, everyone rates you primarily on the basis of your success, not talent.

But theatre is a different world. We need better plays to revive the theatre movement in the state. The drama festivals that are being held in the in the past few years are good windows for the drama enthusiasts to learn about the novel trends and major changes in the international theatre scenario,” the actor says.

“Only such film makers will survive in the industry now,” he adds.
