Court denies pleas of Thilakan’s first wife, children

Express News Service

The second Judicial Magistrate Court on Monday directed Thilakan’s first wife Santha and children Shammi, Shobi and Shaji, not to enter the apartment of their step- sister Sonia Thilakan.

Though they had argued that their right to enter the apartment should not be restricted, the Magistrate denied their pleas. Shammi, Shobi and Shaji along with their mother and cousin Shibu Damodaran had earlier filed affidavits that they did not intend to forcibly evict Sonia Thilakan from their father’s apartment in the city.  The affidavits were filed in reply to the petition filed by Sonia Thilakan that she was threatened by her step-brothers that they would evict her from the  PRS Court apartment complex at Pulimood and also take away all the awards of Thilakan that were kept in the house.
