The audio launch of Cosmo and Boss Film’s debut venture Onbadhula Guru, directed by Vijay’s PRO PT Selvakumar was a grand affair. The film is a laugh riot starring Vinay, Premji, Arvind Akash, Satyan, Chaums, Manobala and Lakshmi Rai. A trailer and three songs were screened. Launching the audio, Vijay said, “Selvakumar has been with me for 20 years, being a pillar of support through every high and low in my career. I am very happy now that he is turning director.”
The actor added that he was touched by the gesture of producers R Sivakumar and S Sivakumar, “They distributed Nanban and Thuppakki. They flew to Mumbai, where I was shooting recently, to thank me for the success of those films. I was immensely touched.”
The audio was received by director K S Ravikumar in the presence of a large host of dignitaries including S A Chandrasekar, P L Thenappan, K V Anand, R B Chowdhary, Abirami Ramanathan, Elred Kumar, Samudrakani, Mansur Ali Khan, Premji, Lakshmi Rai and many others. Power Star, who has danced for a song in the film, received a rousing response from fans. The music director is K, while P Chelladurai, former, a former assistant of KV Anand, is the cameraman.
