Priyanka Chopra Clears Air on Quantico's 'Steamy Sex Scenes'

Priyanka during the same interview also confessed that she had to face a lot of racism during her schooling days in America.

After many apprehensions on the bold sexual scenes by Bollywood starlet Priyanka Chopra seen in the trailer of a new US-based television show “Quantico.” Priyanka suggests that Indian films today show a lot more than what she did.

Speaking to Mid-day a Mumbai-based tabloid, the actress said that it was not a sexual role and there was nothing much shown but just a shot of her knee, the car and Jake McLaughlin (an American actor).

She said there was no other way it could have been done as it was necessary to show that her “character has no inhibitions to men and men don't matter to her.”

Priyanka said, “I didn't have to do anything. Indians films today show a lot more than what I have done in it.”

The versatile B-town diva who played different roles and genres in Kollywood, Tollywood and Bollywood has now making her way to Hollywood with the upcoming American television series Quantico.

The 32-year old actress said, she was overwhelmed by the response of the trailer, which she didn't expect in Bollywood where she always played “stereotyped” roles.

Priyanka during the same interview also confessed that she had to face a lot of racism during her schooling days in America.

She had received many racist comments like—Browny, during her academic days in America and hence she had to return to India. Comparatively, now she has expressed her happiness to make a debut with the American television series, “Quantico” which is well received by the American audience.
