MUMBAI: Maybe the locals are very healthy due to a combination of the climate, environment, diet and lifestyle, and do not feel the need for gyms. Or maybe the business prospects of fitness centers there are not so good, but the only dilemma faced by the “Rock On!! 2” team in Shillong is that their hotel has no place to work out, though the city itself mesmerized them.
The cast, including Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Shraddha Kapoor, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai have started work and will be shooting all over the state for the next two months. It’s all work till Diwali when the team will take its first break, followed by two more schedules during Christmas and New Year.
The concert will be canned later this month, but the boys and Kapoor have been jamming for it. All the actors and co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani are health fanatics about their workouts. Akhtar has lost a lot of weight to play Aditya Shroff again and has grown a heavy beard. None of them were willing to go a day without training. So they went shopping, picked up all the equipment required, and set up a makeshift gym in one of the hotel suites!
