Latest reports suggest that Junior NTR will play the role of Lord Krishna in the new film ‘Brindaavanam’.

This is not going to be a full length role for the actor. He appears as Lord Krishna in only a small portion of the film.

Jr NTR had earlier mentioned that he wants to play a mythological role in one of his films and looks like his wish was promptly granted. His grandfather NT Rama Rao had played the role of Lord Krishna in a number of films and the audience still remembers him for those roles.

Vamsi Paidpalli decided to include Lord Krishna’s scene because he wanted to honour NT Rama Rao. This was decided on Janmashtami. All the required scenes will be shot later and included in the film.

Dil Raju is the producer of the film; songs are being shot at different locations.
