Actor Arulnidhi’s next film, which was titled 'Sambhuvam' earlier, has been rechristened 'Thagaraaru'. Arulnidhi’s brother Dayanidhi Azhagiri will produce the film helmed by debutant Ganesh Vinayak.
Speaking to City Express, Arulnidhi said 40 per cent of the movie has been completed and that they recently shot a couple of fight sequences near Chennai.
“The duels, choreographed by Dileep Subbarayan, look real and suit the title well,” he said. According to him, the stunts aren’t dare-devilish, but will appear as if it were happening for real. The female lead will played by Poorna.
Another highlight of the film, Arulnidhi says, will be the comedy done by a group of friends in the film.
“Aadukalam Murugadoss, who was part of my Mouna Guru, will playing one of my friends along with two newcomers — Tharun and Phavan. Dayanidhi, who often visits the shooting spot, seems to be impressed with the crew’s work. The talkie portions of the film will be over by August,” he informs.
