Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies will be distributing director Vijay’s new offering Saivam to theatres. The actor has announced the same through his Twitter feed and plans to finalise the release date soon.

Red Giant Movies have already worked with director Vijay in Madrasapattinam in 2010, and the movie met with good success at the box office.

GV Prakash has put together the music score and Nirav Shah has cranked the lens. The film, produced by the director himself under the banner Think Big studios, is also a launch pad for Baasha, actor Nasser’s son. The father-son duo plays grandfather and grandson in the movie. Baby Sara of Deiva Thirumagal fame will also be seen playing a pivotal role in the film.
