Bad news for Suriya fans! The massive plans that the producers had — to bring in scores of the actors fans and stage a grand audio launch at a venue like the Nehru Stadium or Chennai Trade Centre — have been called off prematurely. Announcing the news, UTV’s South chief G Dhananjayan tweeted, “The focus is on Anjaan’s release on August 15 and hence, no formal audio launch on July 22 as planned, folks.” The producers had gone ahead and planned a gala event for Suriya and the rest of the Anjaan team, after the teaser raked in an impressive 2 million hits online within a week. But all of it stands cancelled owing to “uncertainties about the location and permission.”
Instead, Anjaan’s audio will be launched with a few people at Sathyam Cinemas on the same day and the CDS and digital audio will hit stores on July 23. The film is said to be all-out action blockbuster and features Suriya and Samantha in the lead roles
