MUMBAI: : The Roshans have taken the failure of ‘Kites very seriously and hence are planning to hit back with a sequel of 2006 hit film ‘Krrish’ starring Hrithik Roshan in the lead.

The father son duo has given three films together until now, which includes Hrithik’s debut movie ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’, ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ and ‘Krrish’. All of them have turned out to be blockbuster hits at the box office.

Rakesh had been planning this sequel for a while, but it didn’t materialize. The debacle of ‘Kites’ however has made him work on it very seriously.

Sources say that after making three big hits with his son, Rakesh wanted to take a break from direction and start producing films and Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra was supposed to direct ‘Krrish 2’. Now, the plan stands changed.
