MUMBAI: Shailesh Singh, the producer of critically acclaimed films “Tanu Weds Manu” and “Shahid,” has brought back together Irrfan Khan and Nishikant Kamat for his upcoming film “Madaari.”

Khan said about the collaboration, “During ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan,’ I developed a good bonding with Nishikant and have always wanted to work with him. I am really very excited for the film.”

Kamat’s association with Khan goes back to when they did television together.

Shot across the length and breadth of the country, including locations in Mumbai, Shimla, Dehradun, Delhi, Jaisalmer and Hyderabad, “Madaari” is a hard-hitting social thriller starring Khan, Jimmy Shergill and an ensemble cast.

Singh, who is also co-producing Hansal Mehta’s “Aligarh” and “Tanu Weds Manu Returns,” said, “We should be commencing post-production shortly and aim at releasing the film around July-August 2015.”
