Mansukhani, who made his directorial debut in 2008 with the film "Dostana", starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra, tweeted: "And it begins! First day (Monday) of writing my next film. What next? An action film? A romance? A horror maybe?"

He is also directing the Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez-starrer "Drive", which has been locked for release on March 2, 2018.

The film is being co-produced by Hiroo Johar and Karan Johar.

In an interview to IANS, Sushant had said about the film: "That's a heist film. When you are going to watch the film, you would not know what is going to happen next."
