After creating several records at the box-office in India, Dangal has taken the Chinese box-office by storm. The Aamir Khan film has recorded a humongous opening weekend of approximately $ 11.30 million (` 73 crore) in China. 


The film is one of the best reviewed films of all time in China and is expected to record a good trend even on the weekdays. Dangal has recorded the biggest opening weekend ever for a Hindi film in China surpassing PK, which collected approximately $ 4 million in its 3 day run.


The Aamir Khan film got nearly 34,000 shows in the neighbouring country and over 15, 00,000 people watched the film in the opening weekend. 


Day wise box-office collection:
Friday: $ 2.1 million
Saturday: $ 4.3 million

Sunday: $ 4.88 million (Estimates)
Total: $ 11.30 million
Before its release in China, the worldwide collections of Dangal stood at Rs 750 crore (including Taiwan) and the film stands a chance to become the first ever Bollywood film to gross over `1000 crore. After the opening weekend in China, the worldwide collections of Dangal stand approximately at ` 815 crore.


Given the reviews as well as audience response in China, Dangal might breach past the $ 35 million mark.
