NEW DELHI: Rapper and hip-hop singer Hard Kaur has won the Best India Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2017, which was held in London.

The 38-year-old was nominated in the category along with Nucleya, Parekh & Singh, Yatharth and Raja Kumari.

Shawn Mendes was the bigger winner of the night as he took home three awards including Best Artist, Best Song for "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back," and Biggest Fans.

Rita Ora hosted the star-studded ceremony at London's SSE Arena in Wembley.
