Akshay Kumar to star in Hindi remake of Ajith Kumar super-hit 'Veeram'

Akshay Kumar will be seen next in the remake of Ajith Kumar's 2014 Tamil super-hit 'Veeram'.

According to reports from DNA, the movie is titled 'Land of Lungi' (LOL). Akshay will be donning the role of an 'angry' villager in the film which is to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The rest of cast and crew is yet to be announced.

The shooting of LOL is slated to roll next year. Akshay right now has got his hands full, working on multiple high profile projects like Padman, Robot 2.0, Gold and Kesar.

The actor has been riding high on success with nine consecutive hits with his previous release Toilet: Ek Prem Katha also grossing over 100 crores at the box-office.

It will be interesting to see if LOL can replicate the success of Veeram.
