NEW DELHI: After cumulating praises from the critics and the film fraternity, the unconventional 'October', starring Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu, has received a thumbs up from the audience, raking a total of Rs. 20.25 crores in three days.

Shoojit Sircar's 'October' started slow but gradually gathered steam with good word of mouth.

As quoted by Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst and an Indian film critic, the movie witnessed ample growth after it saw a slow start on Friday.

The film revolves around Dhawan, who is on a quest to find Sandhu, a girl who was in love with him during college days.

The flick hit the theatres on April 13.
