Many attempts have been made to dub Ramanand Sagar's famous teleserial Ramayana, which was telecast more than two decades ago. However, no attempt was made to bring out a teleserial on Ramayana in Kannada, largely because of stiff resistance from Kannada artistes.
Now, Cinevistaas has made a teleserial titled Seethe based on Ramayana.
It is the first time the epic Ramayana is being told from Sita's perspective. According to Zarine Jalil, the creative head of Cinevistaas, special attention has been paid to research and a lot of attention has been given to detail to make this serial a household favourite.
“A serial offering good clean entertaining, information, special effects along with great production values will become the favourite of the whole family,” said Zarine.
The teleserial is being telecast by Udaya TV from 7 pm to 7.30 pm. The serial has been produced by Prem Kishen and Sunil Mehta. Krishna Sethi has handled the megaphone, while Kishore Kapadia worked behind the camera. Vasantrao Kulkarni worked as art director and SP Balasubramaniam rendered the title song.
