‘Slumdog’ Tanvi arrives in Kannada

The former child artiste now makes her debut in Sandalwood with ’15, Yee Vayasse Onthara'.

BANGALORE: Little Tanvi, who was seen dancing to the tune of ‘Ringa Ringa’ song in the Oscar winning movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, is going to make her debut in Kannada films.

She will be seen in the movie '15…Yee Vayasse Onthara', to be directed by debutant Shrikanth.

Shrikanth the father of Master Kishan, who entered the Guinness Book of Records for becoming a director at a very young age.

Apart from Tanvi, the Kannada film will be a debut platform many other child actors. Child models of ads like Vodaphone, Clinic Plus and Horlicks along with the ones who had starred in films like 'Dor' and 'Vada Raha’ play important roles in the film.

Master Kishan will play the main lead under the direction of his father Srikanth, who was an Income Tax official in Bangalore.  Kishan has already acted in more than 70 Kannada movies and is now studying in Class X. He is also learning graphics and animation technology.

Rushitha, the top model, who has done more than 70 advertisements, will also play an important role in this film. She was earlier seen in the advertisements of Pears, Maggi and has acted with Vidya Balan in ‘Parineeta’.
