A Sharadhaa

Popular radio jockey Rohit has taken a shine to the tinsel town. Recently seen in the reality show Bigg Boss Kannada Season 2, the artiste now wants explore his acting skills and has signed three back-to-back films.

“Bigg Boss was just an interesting experience for me. I didn't do it to gain  fame. My fans have already made me popular as an RJ and I would like to continue in the same direction. I have been planning to get into films for a while, and I signed projects only when everything fell in place," he says.

Rohit has chosen off-beat commercial films in the beginning of his career and says that he would like to experiment with different genres.

“My debut as a hero is a thriller directed by Navaneet and is currently on roll. Navaneet has assisted well-known directors like S Narayan and V Ravichandran. My second film is directed by Shiva Ganapathy, who previously did Anu,” he says.

Rohit goes on to clarify that he will not give up RJ-ing despite having his hands full with films.

“Nobody would want to give up a job that brought them to a good position. RJ-ing has helped me get close to people. My shooting schedule will be set around my work schedule. I will make sure that my passion for acting does not come in the way of being an RJ,” says Rohit.
