Rudramuni, who has mostly worked in Ravichandran's films, is directing his first feature film. Chinna Chinna Aase is a love story starring Krishna and Ester Narona playing an important role in the film. "Chinna Chinna Aase might be a hit song in Roja. Meenakshi who is excited to work in the Kannada industry says, "I was approached many times by directors in Sandalwood. I took very short time to say yes to the role director Rudramuni has offered me. The character I play in the film will help me explore my acting skills and also help me to develop a rapport with the industry."

Meenakshi, simultaneously has taken up a Tamil project, with Venkat Prabhu's younger brother Premgi Amaren, which is supposed to be a romantic comedy. She also is waiting for her debut film in Hindi, P Se PM Tak, to be released. "The Hindi film is ready. Since it is a concept-based film, it needs a lot of marketing, before they set the release date," says Meenakshi.
