Star Son Suraag Debuts in Goli Soda

A Sharadhaa

Goli Soda, was a hit Tamil film written, directed and filmed by cinematographer-director SD Vijay Milton. The plot revolved around the lives of four young boys who worked as coolies for a living.  The Kannada remake of the film had the same name and was to be helmed by director Raghu Jaya and produced by Kolla Praveen. Unfortunately, work was stopped after few days of shoot. However, the good news is that the makers have approached the director to start shooting for it again. “We went on floors last December and a few market portions were also shot. Then the producer faced some problems as a result of which the film was stalled. Now they have requested me to restart the movie. Since, I am currently busy with Rajadhani 2, I will be only taking up Goli Soda in the month of July,” reveals Raghav. Interestingly, Sadhu Kokila’s son, Suraag and actor Arun Sagar’s son will also be part of Goli Soda. “The villain who was part of the Tamil film will also be working in the Kannada version. Luckily, we could bring in youngsters like Suraag and Arun’s son on board. We will be finalising the two boys and rest of the starcast as and when we are closer to shoot,” he says.
