Sandalwood's stunt director Ravi Verma, a known name in south Indian film industry and Bollywood, recently wrapped up an ad shoot with Ranbir Kapoor in Mumbai. "The actor is endorsing Lays and I choreographed an ad jingle for Ranbir Kapoor, which was shot over 3 days. I have done four ads till date but this is the first time I am choreographing for a national brand," says Ravi Verma, who is back in Hyderabad and is currently on the sets of A...Aa, a film directed by Trivikram, starring Nithiin and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. "I feel lucky to get an opportunity to work with a director who is highly rated for his technical standards," says the ace stunt choreographer. Ravi will follow it up with another Telugu film with Balakrishna, for which he will choreograph the climax.
Back in Kannada, he has completed his work for Doddmane Hudga, Nanu Mathu Varalakshmi and Crazy Boys. As for the status of his directorial project with brothers Shivarajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar, to be produced by Jayanna, he says, "The work is in progress from my end and I will be able to give more details of my directorial once I have the final meeting with Shivanna on either December 8 or 9," he says.
Ravi is is excited to start his New Year with Shah Rukh Khan with whom he will be working for Raees. "I will also be choreographing stunts for Rangoon, directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. I will start 2016 with these two projects in Bollywood as I will wait for something exciting to come my way," he says.
