Bahaddur, a film that ran for over 100 days, has brought much cheer to director Chethan Kumar. He is totally kicked about starting his next project James, a story, which he had written during the post-production of his first film. And, according to Sandalwood buzz, Puneeth Rajkumar who took some time off to read a couple of scripts has liked the story of James and has decided to do the project.
The official announcement about who will be the producer and other details will be made on March 17 on Puneeth’s birthday. As told to City Express in an earlier interview, Chethan’s James channels James Bond and laces the idea with a local flavour without compromising on the style. It promises to be a complete mass entertainer.
Bahaddur was appreciated among other things for its dialogues and the same crisp narrative will possibly attract the audience in James too. Chethan’s aim is to make a film for Puneeth is that it will stand out from the rest of the actor’s previous movies.
Ask Chethan about the new developments and all that he says is, “I am working on the script and other details for James. I cannot talk about it until I have an official confirmation in hand.”
Puneeth who has gone abroad to shoot for Rana Vikrama will come back and start Dodmane Huduga. He will then follow it with James and later take up Ravi Verma’s project.
