With Sudeep and Nithya Menen-starrer Kotigobba 2 in the final stages of post-production, the makers plan to release another teaser on July 2. "Our first teaser was released on Sudeep's birthday, which gave out the first look of Sudeep. Our second teaser will give viewers a hint of what Kotigobba 2 is about," says Surappa Babu.
The production house will have the movie's audio release on July 9. "We have not planned any mega audio launch, but we are anxious to know the audience reaction," he says.
The bilingual film in Kannada and in Tamil as Mudinja Ivan Pudi is directed by KS Ravi Kumar and has music scored by D Imman. The film has Rajarathinam as its cinematographer.
Like the entire film industry, even the team of Kottigobba 2 is waiting for Kabali to come to theatres and accordingly plan the release date. "As of now, our plan is to come out with the film by July end," says Surappa Babu.
Apart from the lead pair, the film has Mukesh Tiwari, Sharath Lohitashwa, Nassar, Ravi Shankar, Chikkanna among others in the star cast.
