Kannada actress files complaint after morphed pictures appear on fake Facebook profiles

BENGALURU: Kannada film actress Sruthi Hariharan on Friday filed a complaint with the cyber police after unidentified people morphed her image onto nude pictures on various social media sites, including Facebook. 

On Thursday, Sruthi met City Police commissioner Praveen Sood and filed a complaint that an image of her, as well as other actresses had been morphed and posted on various websites on the internet.

DCP Crime Anand Kumar confirmed the allegations, and said that some people had created a few fake Facebook accounts in Sruthi Hariharan’s name and published the inappropriate images.
