Shreyas’ debut, Paddehulli, which is directed by Guru Deshpande has almost completed 60 per cent of its shoot.  The director has come up with another look from his film which he reveals on his birthday.

So far, he says that he’s ‘happy’ with the way the film is shaping up. “The lead, Shreyas Manju and Nishvika Naidu share a good on-screen chemistry,” he says, adding, “Padehulli gives Shreyas an opportunity to try out various shades (lover boy, emotions, fights) in just one shot. I found Shreyas to be good at action sequences. With his expressive eyes and acting skills, if he pursues the right films, he stands a good chance of becoming a mass hero,” he tells us.

Incidentally, the film, which brings together Ravichandran and Sudharani after a long time, has the former playing the role of a Kannada teacher. Meanwhile, in the love tale that blends action and drama, Guru is concentrating on the film’s music composed by Ajaneesh B Loknath.

“Since this is a ‘music-based film, we are working on unique songs, the details of which we are working on,” he says. The next schedule of the film will begin on July 31 in Bengaluru.

Paddehulli also features Aishwarya Prasad, Amit, Dharma, Vinayak Joshi in the cast with cinematography by KS Chandrashekar.
