THE pooja of the movie ‘Payyans’ with Jayasurya in the lead was held in the city on Wednesday.
The movie directed by Leo Thaddeus, the director of ‘Pachamarathanalil,’ will also have Lal, Lalu Alex, Rohini and Suraj Venjaramoodu in prominent roles. The movie is produced by Noushad Kammu Vadakkan under the banner of Kammu Vadakkan Films.
Ranjan Abraham is the editor. Alphonse has scored the music of the lyrics penned by Kaithapram and Anil Panachooran. The shooting of the movie is scheduled to start by mid-July.
