Aji John, who has directed films like ‘Nallavan’ and ‘Hotel California’, is all set play the hero in an upcoming film. The film titled ‘Chila Nerangalil Chilar’ is to be directed by debutant Sreenivasan Parameshwaran who has been an assistant to veteran filmmaker Balu Mahendra. Another highlight of the film is that Bollywood actor Jackie Sheroff will play the main Villain in it. Sanjana Gilrani and Vinutha Lal will be playing the female leads while Tamil actor JP, P Balachandran, Ashokan, Sudeesh, Devi Ajith and Prashanth Philip are also part of the cast.
When we think of Mumbai the first images that come to our mind are places like Gateway of India, Dharavi, Andheri or Grand Road. But there is a Mumbai which is not known to many people, there is an unheard, unseen and unexplored Mumbai which is hidden from our eyes. ‘Chila Nerangalil Chilar’ unveils that unseen and unheard Mumbai and the film is expected to be a fast paced thriller.
The movie will be produced by Milestone Movie Makers and scripted by hero Aji John himself. Prijith Bhaskar will be cranking the camera. Mumbai, Matheran and Malshej Ghat are the locations of the film. ‘Chila Nerangalil Chilar’ is expected to go on floors by the beginning of May.
