Niranj's and Miya-starrer romantic drama Bobby, that hit the screens last week, will soon be remade into Tamil and Telugu. According to director Shebi Chowghat, talks are almost on the final lap in this regard.
He says: Yes, we have been approached for the remake and dubbing rights of Bobby. We are negotiating the amount quoted for dubbing rights. Though we haven't signed the dotted lines yet, things are almost finalized," says Shebi.
Besides, there is a buzz that the Telugu and Tamil movies will have Niranj reprising his character.
"Yes, they are quite interested in Niranj. The team have already expressed interest in having Niranj for the role," says Shebi. However, it is not sure whether Mia would be playing her role. Bobby is the tale of love between a 21-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman. Besides Niranj and Mia, the movie had Dharmajan Bolgatti, Saju Navodaya and Shammy Thilakan in lead roles.
