First look of Dhyan Sreenivasan and Malikappuram-fame Devananda’s Kalyanamaram out, release window confirmed

The first look of the upcoming family entertainer Kalyanamaram, headlined by Dhyan Sreenivasan and child actor Devananda of Malikappuram fame, was unveiled on Sunday, with the makers confirming that the film will hit theatres in March. The poster is set against the backdrop of a girls-only classroom, featuring Dhyan and Devananda prominently. The film is directed by Rajesh Amanakara, who previously helmed the 2013 film Entry and co-directed Pranav Mohanlal’s 2003 release Punarjani alongside Major Ravi.

Kalyanamaram has Dhyan playing a schoolteacher named Sajin, with Meera Vasudevan, Athira Patel, Prashant Murali, Manoj K U, Noby Marcose and Manju Vijeesh in key roles. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Rajeesh Raman, editing by Rathin Radhakrishnan and music by Ajay Joseph. Shot in Pala, Thodupuzha and Mulanthuruthy, it is produced by Saji K Elias under the banner of Mariyem Cinema.

Dhyan’s upcoming line-up also includes Oru Vadakkan Therottam and Bheeshmar, which also stars Vishnu Unnikrishnan in the lead.
